Terms and conditions

Our apartments are located in the vibrant hub of Hobart’s waterfront area. Sullivans Cove Apartments takes no responsibility for, and will not offer discounts for noise from restaurants, bars, the port, general traffic noise or events and activities which are beyond our control.

All apartments are strictly non-smoking and there are no pets allowed.

Sullivans Cove Apartments reserves the right to charge for any loss, damage or other charges as listed below:

 

  1. A security bond up to $500 per apartment may be required prior to check in
  2. Replacement charges for any damages or loss of any item from within the apartment and/or surrounding property.  Including any lost or damaged keys ($50 per key), and/or Car parking sensors ($200).
  3. Cleaning charge for apartments left in an unreasonable/dirty condition, e.g. unwashed dishes, excess rubbish or the replacement of items moved between apartments. Minimum charge of $50
  4. A charge of $500 if guests smoke in the apartment, or allow cigarette smoke or ash to enter the apartment (e.g. do not close the balcony door when smoking outside).
  5. Any extra guests staying will be charged at a rate of $50 per person per night.
  6. A ‘call-out’ fee (min. $55) may be charged for after-hours attendance e.g. lost keys / locked out of room.
  7. A ‘security call-out’ fee of $500.00 should a complaint be received against your apartment from other guests or residents due to noise or inappropriate behaviour. Should the behaviour not cease, all occupants will be asked to depart immediately and no refund provided.
  8. A late checkout fee of up to 100% of the daily room rate for an unauthorised late checkout.
  9. All minibar charges incurred.
  10. A non-refundable surcharge to all debit and credit card payments (from 1.6% to 1.8% of total cost depending on the type of debit/credit card).

Policies

Payment Policy
All payments will be charged to the credit card provided unless other arrangements are agreed in advance.

 

  • Standard Rate: Full payment will be charged within 7-10 days before arrival
  • Non-Refundable Rate: Full payment will be charged at the time of booking
  • Christmas-New Year: If staying over the period 24 December to 6 January, full payment is required in advance by 1st September to secure your reservation.


Function Policy
We strive to ensure all of our guests and residents can enjoy a quiet and relaxing environment. Sullivans Cove Apartments adopts a NO FUNCTIONS / NO PARTY policy.

Cancellation policy

We understand it is sometimes necessary to cancel your booking. Cancellations must be received in writing or processed online using your booking reference. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers you for the cost of any cancellations.

Standard Flexible Rate policy

  • Guests must cancel or amend their reservation a minimum of 7 days before check-in to be eligible for a full refund (excluding any applicable, non-refundable debit/credit card surcharge). Any reservation cancelled or modified within 7 days, or if the guest does not show up, the total reservation cost will be charged.

Non-Refundable Rate Policy

  • Any reservations made with a Non-refundable rate discount that are cancelled, modified, or if the guest does not show up, the total reservation cost will be charged. This policy does not allow for a refund or transfer under any circumstances.

Christmas – New Year Bookings Policy

  • For reservations staying between 24 December to 5 January, any cancellation or modification must be received before 1 September to receive a full refund (excluding the non-refundable debit/credit card surcharge). Reservations cancelled or amended on or after 1 September, a fee of 100% of the reservation cost applies.

Covid related Cancellations

  • Should Government travel restrictions be introduced that prevent your travel to Tasmania for your booking each booking will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  For Standard Flexible Rate bookings a full refund or credit transfer to a future stay is available.  For Non Refundable bookings, no refund is available, a credit transfer to a future stay may be offered.
