FAQs and Booking Conditions:

  • Sullivans Cove Apartments has a cancellation policy requiring 48 hours notice of a reservation cancellation. Should cancellation advice be given within 48 hours, one night’s accommodation will be charged, if notice is given more than 48 hours before arrival 100% of the booking charge will be refunded.
  • Payment for accommodation by cheque can only be accepted by prior arrangement and if received at least 10 days prior to arrival.
  • Payment by all major credit cards is accepted. Please note, there is a 1.8% credit card payment surcharge on Visa and Mastercard and 3% on Amex and Diners.
  • Pre-payment or direct deposit can be arranged, please contact our office to arrange.
  • Credit card details will be taken at time of booking.
  • You will be required to have a credit card to check-in.
  • $200 will be authorised on your credit card at check-in.
  • If you do not have a credit card a $500 cash bond is required on check-in.
  • Check-in time is from 2pm.
  • Check-out time is 10am or by pre-arrangement.
  • Check-in during normal business hours is at 5/19a Hunter St. For After Hours Check In, please contact Reception during reception hours. When booking, please include estimated arrival time to enable us to arrange check-in. A location map for all apartments is available here.
  • Please note, Sullivans Cove Apartments cannot guarantee specific Apartment Number, only room types.

Please note:

  • Check-in is at our office at 5/19a Hunter St though your apartment may be in one of our other locations.
  • If arriving by car, park on Hunter Street and leave your luggage in the car, you will be directed to your apartment and given parking instructions on check-in.
  • If arriving by taxi, leave your luggage in the taxi and ask them to wait as these apartments are a short drive away.
  • Apartments will be serviced daily except Sundays and public holidays.
  • Car parking is available free of charge, however is subject to availability at the time of check-in.

Answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Children are welcome and cots are available by pre-arrangement at $15 per night (subject to availability at time of booking).
  • All rates are for 2 people. Extra person charge is $40 per person per night using existing bedding.
  • Roll-away beds available subject to availability at $40 per night.
  • Admiral’s Penthouse 1 has a fixed rate for 6 people and is not negotiable.
  • Admiral’s Penthouse 2 has a fixed rate for 8 people and is not negotiable.
  • All apartments are located around the Hobart waterfront precinct within easy walking distance of the city centre, restaurants, Salamanca Market and other major attractions.
  • All rates quoted are room only in AUD and include GST.
  • Apartments are spacious, fully equipped and perfect for longer stays.

Sullivans Cove Apartments Christmas New Year Bookings & Cancellation Policy

  • Please note that for stays between 21 December to 4 January inclusive, a 50% deposit of the total account is required to secure the reservation.
  • If this reservation is cancelled prior to 1 December the deposit is fully refundable. If the reservation is cancelled on, or after 1 December, the 50% deposit is non-refundable and will constitute the cancellation fee. We therefore strongly recommend that you have travel insurance.
  • Balance of account will be payable on checkout.
